The SIGN of Chesney's Success: "SOLD OUT"

Last season more than a few NFL teams had trouble selling out their stadiums, but not Kenny Chesney. He’s scoring big crowds at all the NFL houses where tickets for his The Road & The Radio 2006 tour are on sale.

With more than four months to go before his concert in the New England Patriot's Gillette Stadium, there isn't a ticket available for Kenny Chesney's second straight year playing Boston's football stadium. And it looks like it's going to be the same way in Detroit and Seattle. Chesney moved over 30,000 tickets in the first 15 minutes in Detroit, there are only a few hundred tickets left for Chesney's Aug 26 show at Ford Field. It's much the same story in Seattle, where first day ticket sales for his June 26 show at Qwest Stadium topped 32,000 - and are still selling briskly.

Chesney:
"Those stadiums shows take a little getting used to - and reallybeing in the best shape possible cause of all the running. But they're really big fun, and it seems like people make aneven bigger day of it, so they enjoy it as much as we do."

With the exception of a handful of dates, The Road & The Radio Tour 2006 is completely sold-out - and second shows being added in marketswhere it's possible to keep up with the demand.

Houston's Woodlands Amphitheatre sold out so fast, even tour promoter Louis Messina is having a hard time coming up with tickets for people he knows, and Lafayette, Louisiana's Cajundome also went clean in less than 15 minutes from the box office opening.

Like Nashville gossip guy Neil Haislop says: "Kenny is scoring touchdowns in the houses of the NFL."
