Garth, NHLPA & NHL Partner For Kids


WHO: Media announcement to feature Garth Brooks, the highest certified solo recording artist in U.S. history.Brooks’ charity “Teammates For Kids” was established in 1999 to raise money for children’s causes, with an emphasis on health, education and inner-city services.

The media conference also will include NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman and National Hockey League Players’ Association Executive Director Ted Saskin along with Nashville Predators forward Scott Walker.

WHAT: With the NHL teams’ full commitment, the NHL, NHLPA and “Teammates For Kids” will announce a partnership that will support programs that improve the lives of children.To date, “Teammates For Kids” has donated more than $48 million to charities that benefit children.
